KFoundation Raises Fund for the Underprivileged through Charity Run

The KFoundation Run for Love charity event was successfully held on 28 November at Shanghai Century Park. The event attracted more than 60 corporate teams and 300 runners. The running enthusiast group, Lepao Team, won the team relay championship.


The relay teams were made up of five runners working together to complete the 9-kilometre course. In the morning of 28 November, 60 teams raced to compete for the winners’ trophy. After a truly epic race, with the lead changing hands a number of times, Lepao Team narrowly beat the other challengers to finish first and record a phenomenal time of 39 minutes and 11 seconds. The commercial real estate advisory firms Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers International followed right after Lepao Team, taking second and third places, respectively. In addition, KaiLong Women’s Team won the title of fastest women’s team of the race.


The purpose of Run for Love is to enhance industry cooperation and promote charity. A number of industry leaders, including China Xintiandi, Morgan Stanley and Standard Chartered, participated in the race.


A total of over RMB200, 000 was raised in less than two weeks among the participating teams. All registration fees and charity proceeds will be donated to the event’s charity partner - Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation (SSCLF).
